Outreach

In light of our mission to witness to God's saving love, our goal is to foster social justice and service within and beyond our community in Jesus' name.

Together, we can achieve this goal by: helping and supporting people in crisis and with special needs, strongly supporting our outreach ministries by praying, contributing and volunteering, applying principles of social justice in our daily lives, both as individuals and as a community, and supporting efforts of consciousness raising regarding issues of social justice and peace.

Ecumenism is promoted through collaboration with neighboring Protestant churches on joint seasonal worship experiences, summer children's program and occasional service efforts.

Sandwich Makers provide sandwiches for the Downtown Service Center.

St. Vincent de Paul provides emergency food, clothing and shelter to anyone in parish boundaries

Chore Service provides volunteer emergency and short-term service for sick and elderly in parish boundaries.

Refugee Committee offers material and spiritual support to refugees.

Disability Awareness addresses needs of persons with disabilities and stimulates parish response.

Prison Ministry visits those in King County Jail and offers support for their families.
